Sixteen consultants run the engagements, from five Australian cities. All are employed full time and background checked, and some hold security clearances. Testing is never subcontracted. Between them they hold 26 distinct certifications, including OSEE, OSCE3, OSED, OSEP, OSWE and GXPN.

Erik Dul
Co-Founder / Technical Director

Erik is the co-founder of SilentGrid Security with over a decade of experience in IT security and technical consulting. After delivering scenario-based adversary simulation for several financial institutions in the UK (CBEST), he spent the last five years performing red teaming against major banks and ASX listed companies in Australia. He also built and managed offensive security teams in Australia. His primary technical focuses are enterprise network solutions and hardware and IoT security.

Claudio Moletta
Co-Founder / Technical Director
Sydney, Australia
Claudio co-founded SilentGrid and works across exploit development, adversary simulation and bespoke application testing. He has found and reported 0-day vulnerabilities in commercial software from Hexagon, VMware and Commvault, and publishes the analysis. He has led red team engagements for ASX-listed companies in Australia, and has also worked with major organisations in Italy and the UK under CBEST.

Olsi Selfo

Olsi is the sales director of SilentGrid Security. He is an experienced Sales Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the cybersecurity industry, managing and growing business development teams. His role focuses on establishing and maintaining partnerships with new and existing clients. Olsi has broad sector experience with clients in financial services, retail, government, transportation, utilities, telco, healthcare, education and other large enterprises across ANZ.

He specialises in adversary simulation and penetration testing and has performed numerous assessments for clients across a range of industries. Tim enjoys working with clients and, more importantly, protecting their systems against security threats.

Danyal Drew
Principal Consultant

Dan is a Principal Consultant with over 10 years of experience in penetration testing and red teaming. He specialises in using his knowledge of Windows internals to discover and exploit flaws in binary applications and active directory environments, as well as to develop new offensive capabilities. Danyal enjoys performing security research, which has led to the discovery of new vulnerabilities in widely deployed software solutions and operating systems.

Marc Sleeman

Marc is a Principal Consultant with 6+ years of experience in cyber security. He specialises in adversary simulation and has developed, executed and managed tailored engagements for clients ranging across different verticals including higher education, finance, critical infrastructure and retail. Marc specialises and has a passion for the development of in-house tooling, researching publicly disclosed and trending offensive security techniques, and replicating the techniques, tactics and procedures (TTP) of real adversaries by leveraging threat intelligence.

Richard is a Principal Consultant with over 20 years of experience in cyber security. He has worked in research and development, penetration testing and systems security analysis for both government and private enterprise. Richard has a strong background in application assessments for web, mobile and thick clients. He has performed security assessments for a wide range of clients around the world as well as performing and promoting research. Richard enjoys building things, and is often modifying and upgrading cars, drones, the garden and his kid’s toys.

He specialises in enterprise network security and has assessed applications and networks of all sizes for clients in both the public and private sectors, from city councils to banks. He also has a keen interest in AI and its application to offensive security. In his spare time, he likes to research the latest security techniques and put them to the test in solving CTF challenges.

Richard is a Lead Consultant with over a decade of experience in cyber security, specialising in penetration testing with a focus on mobile, AI, enterprise network, and IoT security. He was recognised as a top contributor to the Google Play Security Reward Program, with a particular interest in Android application security and reverse engineering. He has delivered engagements ranging from standard assessments to bespoke testing programs for clients across healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, retail, and telecommunications.

Joshua Wilson

Josh is a Lead Consultant with 8+ years of experience spanning both penetration testing activities and adversary simulation exercises. Between various application penetration testing, internal and external network assessments, red team, purple team and social engineering engagements, Josh has broad experience across many facets of offensive security. He has operated across a range of industries, including banking, insurance, government entities and retail, both locally and internationally. In addition to his technical work, Josh has previously held project management and client liaison responsibilities, managing clients' BAU and project-based security penetration testing programs from start to finish. Josh holds several industry-recognised certifications, including the OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CRTP and CRTO. He has also completed the Red Team Operations and Identity-Driven Offensive Tradecraft courses by SpecterOps.

Aurelien is a seasoned Lead Consultant with over a decade of experience in penetration testing and application security. He specialises in bespoke web application testing and brings well-rounded technical capabilities across on-premise infrastructure and Microsoft Azure environments. Throughout his career, Aurelien has helped strengthen the security posture of a diverse range of high-profile clients across Australia's private and public sectors. Outside of work, he channels his competitive energy into bouldering, pushing his limits on the wall with the same analytical mindset he brings to a security assessment, and beach volleyball, where teamwork and quick thinking are just as essential as they are on the job.

Ben is a Lead Consultant with a diverse background in information technology and education. Since transitioning from teaching and vocational education governance, he has planned and executed numerous adversary simulation and emulation engagements. His experience spans red and purple teaming, external perimeter breaches and assumed-breach engagements across internal, cloud-based and hybrid environments. He has specialist expertise in social engineering, delivered in person, over video calls, and via email, SMS, voice and social media. Ben enjoys employing an adversary mindset to all testing, ensuring that client outcomes highlight potential real-world impact alongside identified vulnerabilities. He has also completed training including Attacking and Defending Azure & M365, Offensive Phishing Operations and Evilginx Mastery.
